Junior League Playground Clean Up

Last week I participated in our Junior Leagues Provisional Event with ALV.  The provisional class chose to clean up a playground in an underprivileged part of the city. 

ALV was on weeding duty

I was on trash duty

  

Unfortunately the weather wasn't too great, but the local community came out to help clean up the park, and we provided games and crafts for the kids

There was dancing

And our JL was given an award from the local community





Even Mike Logan, a former Steeler showed up to say hi!

It was a wonderful event, and the Park looks great!
